What is kunstof?
Kunstof is the most fun creative student organization in Nijmegen. Every month, we organize an easily accessible and artistic workshop on the campus of Radboud University, given by various enthusiastic artists and students. Kunstof workshops are affordable and suitable for students and starters of any level: so whether you are a true artist or an occasional doodler, everyone is welcome!
----- Kunstof is de leukste creatieve studenten-organisatie in Nijmegen. Elke maand organiseren we een toegankelijke, kunstzinnige workshop op de campus van de Radboud Universiteit, gegeven door verschillende enthousiaste kunstenaars en studenten. Kunstof workshops zijn betaalbaar en geschikt voor studenten en starters van elk niveau: dus of je nou een ware artiest bent of af en toe wat doodled tijdens de lessen, iedereen is van harte welkom! |
Het ontstaan van kunstofKunstof was founded in 2014 and became an official foundation in 2018. The students Sanna Dinh, Lydia Vlagsma, Fenna Sanders and Elyse Maas missed a place on campus to, aside from studying, also be creative. These four heroes put their heads together. Add a pinch of enthusiasm, entrepreneurship and a lot of determination and voilà! Kunstof was a fact. Since then, Kunstof has brought together many inspiring and enthusiastic creative artists and students.
----- Kunstof is opgericht in 2014 en werd in 2018 een officiële stichting. De studenten Sanna Dinh, Lydia Vlagsma, Fenna Sanders en Elyse Maas misten alle vier een plek op de campus om, naast studeren, ook creatief bezig te zijn. Deze vier helden staken de koppen bij elkaar. Voeg daar een snufje enthousiasme, ondernemerschap en een hoop vastberadenheid aan toe en voilà! Kunstof was een feit. Sindsdien heeft Kunstof menig inspirerende en enthousiaste creatievelingen, kunstenaars en studenten bij elkaar gebracht. |

Hey, my name is Jasja and I'm a second year psychology student. I'm the Chair of Kunstof and mostly organise appointments and contact with other organisations, but I also make the posters for workshops and Artnights!
I am in love with art, everything from musea to children's drawings to game design. Talking with others who are passionate about art as well, is one of my favorite things to do. I myself do lots of artsy stuff, drawing and painting, as well as some sculpture and woodworking. I also love giving others critique and helping new artists getting started. I am very excited about the coming year and our upcoming activities, I hope to see and talk to a bunch of you! ---- Hey, ik ben Jasja en ik zit in mijn tweede jaar als psychologie student. Ik ben de voorzitter bij Kunstof en regel vooral dingen zoals afspraken en contact met andere organisaties, maar ik maak ook de posters voor workshops en Artnights! Ik hou verschrikkelijk veel van kunst, van musea tot kindertekeningen tot game design. Vooral praten met anderen die ook gepassioneerd zijn in de kunst vind ik geweldig. Ik doe zelf van alles kunstigst, van tekenen tot schilderen, boetseren en houtbewerken. Ik hou ook van anderen critique geven en nieuwere kunstenaars helpen en een steuntje in de rug geven. Ik heb heel erg veel zin in dit jaar, en ik hoop velen van jullie te zien en te spreken op onze activiteiten! |

Hey, I'm Stephanie and I'm a fourth-year Arts and Culture Studies student :) I am the Treasurer at Kunstof, which means that I am responsible for the income and expenditure of the foundation in addition to the general board tasks.
I have been doing crafts and drawing since I was a child and I really love to tinker. I mainly do a lot of crocheting and scrapbooking, but I also enjoy trying new things. I became involved with Kunstof because there are monthly workshops that bring you into contact with different art techniques that you might not easily try yourself. In addition, it is also very nice getting to know new people during the workshops and Art Nights! I hope to meet you there too! ---- Hey, ik ben Stephanie en ik ben een vierdejaars Arts and Culture Studies student :) Ik ben de Penningmeester bij Kunstof wat inhoudt dat ik verantwoordelijk ben over de inkomsten en uitgaven van de stichting naast de algemene bestuurstaken. Ik ben al van kinds af aan bezig met knutselen en tekenen en hou er echt van om te priegelen. Ik doe vooral veel aan haken en scrapbooken, maar vind het ook leuk om nieuwe dingen te proberen. Ik ben dan ook betrokken geraakt bij Kunstof omdat ik de maandelijkse workshops heel leuk vond. Daarnaast is het ook erg leuk om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen tijdens de workshops en Art Nights. Ik hoop jullie daar ook te ontmoeten! |

Hello everyone! I am Sterre, a third year Biology student. This year I am the secretary of Kunstof! I’m in charge of the Kunstof email and Instagram, so do send a message :)
I’ve always loved artsy hobbies since I was a kid, from painting my bedroom walls without my parents permission, to sewing my own clothes and making my own art pieces. Engaging in creative hobbies has always been a great way to relax and wind down for me. I’m looking forward to trying out new art mediums and meeting other creative people at Kunstof. I hope to see you at one of our activities ;) ----- Dag iedereen! Ik ben Sterre, derdejaars Biologiestudent. Dit jaar ben ik secretaris van Kunstof! Ik beheer de Kunstof e-mail en instagram, dus stuur maar gerust een berichtje :) Al vanaf kinds af aan heb ik altijd van kunstzinnige hobby's gehouden, van het schilderen van de muren van mijn slaapkamer zonder toestemming van mijn ouders, tot het naaien van mijn eigen kleding en het maken van mijn eigen kunstwerken. Het beoefenen van creatieve hobby's is voor mij altijd een geweldige manier geweest om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen. Ik kijk ernaar uit om nieuwe kunst media uit te proberen en andere creatieve mensen te ontmoeten bij Kunstof. Ik hoop je te zien bij een van onze activiteiten ;) |
